Lowestoft Christmas Charity Swim

Logo

After over 200 swimmers braved the waves on Christmas Day, organisers Mark, Ralda and Lawrence would like to say how pleased they are that so many had turned out for what was one of the coldest swims many could remember in its 32 year history. We are delighted to be paying out £9380 to charities and local good causes, well done to all you who swam or supported.

A break down of the grants awarded can be found on the Charities page. These figures are based around the applications each charity made to the swim organisers. The applications for charities to be considered for the 2010 swim will start late summer. If you know of a local charity who would like to apply for a small grant for a specific project please pop back here during late summer for application details.
