Ive called my railway the Rickety Shed Light Railway
because thats where it all started. The shed has now finally departed in a skip but the name has stuck. Having aborted the first outdoor (mk2) design, mk3 was completed to a running condition in 2003 and many a happy running session followed. Progress to this point can be found on my old website here.
2007 brings a house move so the mk3 layout track has been pulled up. A new house brings a new direction which in my case takes me to a more accurate model of part of the Southwold Railway and a move to 45mm gauge track whilst retaining the 16mm to 1 foot scale. This website will document progress.
